  • In the countries of former Yugoslavia carpet making and kilim weaving was a long-cherished and important part of Yugioslavian culture and tradition. Kilims were used as seating accomodation, wall decorations and prayer carpets. Today Yugoslavian kilims are mainly used for decorative purposes. Some of them are already semi-antique, i.e. more than 60 years old, therefore The Orient Bazaar carefully restored them to make them longlasting.
